Soft trees have soft, smooth bark, similar to human skin. That is important because this page used to say something about soft trees. Not any more. Now it's 100% "litter-ature," which is a clever pun combining the words "litter" and "literature," which implies that this is literature suitable for being thrown in the dirt and stepped on. If you are smart enough to figure that out by yourself, don't read the previous sentence. You may be wondering what this has to do with the Piz. If so, you can read about the authors and find out.
